Because everyone is doing it, and it's far more pleasant to DRAW yourself as a teen than showing PHOTOS of yourself as a teen (especially if you ARE still a teen in which case the meme would ask you to show a photo of your future self, which would be a bit of a pickle).
The firestarter is this. I think we can all agree that there's a bit of improvement there. For current standards. (I've always just been sitting around looking blank, though.) Not that I actually remember much what I looked like when in my teen years. I mean, it's been centuries. |
